Malaysian politician Borhan Che Rahim who made racist comments against Kisona Selvaduray has publicly apologized for his actions.

In an open letter, Borhan wrote, “I admit and realize I made a big mistake through that post. In relation to the actions and the mistakes that I made on Borhan Che Rahim’s Facebook account on October 1, 2021, against the national badminton player, I withdraw my statement and publicly apologize to all Malaysians.”

Borhan has also offered to resign from his position as Deputy Chairman of the Pasir Puteh Division.
