Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) signed a 5-year contract with YONEX-Sunrise yesterday. The sponsorship contract is worth RM55 million (13.29 million USD).
The contract signing ceremony was also attended by Malaysian legend and Yonex ambassador Lee Chong Wei. He welcomed the collaboration and said, “I have always been told that Yonex was the best badminton brand since I was a child… I joined the Yonex family and although I am retired, I am still a spokesperson for Yonex.
“Yonex is the best badminton brand and I hope it will help Malaysian badminton get better results in the future.”
