LI NING TURBO CHARGING 75

2019 – 2021
Currently Srikanth Kidambi is using a Li-Ning Turbo Charging 75 (AYPM412). This comes after the end of his long contract with Yonex. This is a moderately balanced racket with medium flex aimed for all round performance.

YONEX ASTROX 99

Mid 2018 – End 2018
He used this racket till the end of 2018 (also the end of his contract with Yonex)

The Yonex Astrox 99 was launched in 2018. The racket looks fire with the orange colour and has an interesting feel. It is a stiff and heavy racket which is more suitable for singles players than doubles players.

The racket is good for smashing and it also performed well defensively. Yonex claims this racket can provide steep attacks, this seems like an oversell though. It’s not as fast as Astrox 88D but still moves well for overhead shots and it also delivers power shots better than Astrox 88S.

YONEX VOLTRIC Z FORCE 2

2016 – 2018
The Yonex Voltric Z Force 2 was the favourite racket for many men’s singles players. Srikanth was among one of them. This is one of the best rackets Yonex has ever released.

The Yonex Voltric Z Force 2 might yet be the most iconic racket which has ever been released by Yonex. It was released before the 2014 All England. This racket is primarily meant for singles players as it has a head heavy frame.

The racket will be suited for players who have an attacking style of play. It performs well with overhead attacking shots but it lacks a little bit for defensive shots. You will need to have a very good wrist technique to hit your shots well using this racket.
