Lee Zii Jia has prepared himself to play without external pressure at the Tokyo Olympics.
The All England champion said, “I don’t care what they (critics) say now, because I have a clearer idea of what I want and I know what I want to achieve at the Olympics.”
“I hope to compete in a stress-free state. I will ignore all the external comments, including the people who have always compared me with Lee Chong Wei. After thinking a lot, I just want to play my best game. I want to participate in the Olympics in a comfortable state, so I won’t read those comments. I know my goal is the most important.”
