Hendra Setiawan spoke out in support of the 11 points, 5 games new scoring proposed by the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI).

The 36-year-old former Olympic champion said, “I personally agree with the change in the scoring system. If it is implemented, it will be very positive because the match will not take too long and stamina can also be saved.

“The challenge will be on (mental) focus, which will be required from the start (of a match), can’t be a slow start.”
