Ratchanok Intanon is the youngest player to become a World Champion in singles (both men & women). She is also the first Thai woman to be ranked world no 1. She also has an incredible record of winning the world junior championships title 3 times in a row. She is known for her fluid hitting motion and creative shots.

Ratchanok Intanon is popularly known as “May” among her friends. She comes from a very humble family background. Her parents used to work at a sweet factory.
