The Badminton World Federation (BWF) today announced that the YONEX Chinese Taipei Open, which was due to be held from 7-12 September 2021, has been cancelled.
“This follows unexpected COVID-19 complications regarding the staging of the tournament, leaving local organisers no choice but to cancel. The BWF regrets the sudden change of direction but remains committed to delivering a safe and structured series of badminton tournaments for the rest of the year,” said BWF in their statement.
