Nozomi Okuhara and other members of the Japanese badminton team returning from the Yonex All England 2020 were not informed that they would be quarantined for 14 days.

Okuhara showed her dissatisfaction by tweeting out that she found out about the quarantine information from the internet, rather than being directly contacted.

Until today, Okuhara remained under the impression that she would be returning to practice in the next few days.

According to Okuhara, the affected parties including the players and the staff should be informed first before announcing on the internet.
