Jonatan Christie: “The strategy against (Prannoy) was more or less the same as yesterday against Srikanth, I tried to keep the shuttle out of his reach first. Then attack whenever there is an opportunity.”

“I learnt from Ginting yesterday that he(Prannoy) was more comfortable when he was attacking continuously.”

Jonatan Christie took the men’s singles title at the Yonex Swiss Open yesterday after defeating H.S. Prannoy of India in two straight games 21-12, 21-18.

He added, “There is still a lot I want to achieve, titles at a higher level. Hopefully, this win in Switzerland can be my start and motivation in 2022.”
