Chen Yu Fei will be competing in her 6th final of the year at the Yonex Sunrise Hong Kong Open 2019. She defeated Zhang Beiwen in the semifinal with a score of 21-18, 14-21, 21-15.

She will be facing Thailand’s Ratchanok Intanon in the final. Intanon came to the finals after defeating Akane Yamaguchi in the semis.

Ratchanok Intanon plays mind games

Speaking to BWF ahead of the finals, Intanon said, “She (Chen Yufei) will be a bit tired from last week, and here also she looked tired…”

“I want to be more confident. When I play my game I feel happy and enjoy it, but today I feel I pressured myself. For tomorrow, I won’t expect that I have to be champion. I have to show what is my game” – added Intanon.
