Ever since players arrived in Bangkok for the Yonex Thailand Open, they were served bland chicken dishes almost every meal. Many players took to social media to share their displeasure with the food, or more accurately their problem with chicken breast.

All the players were confused as to why they got so much chicken breast and not even a single chicken drumstick.

Last week, in a Facebook post from BWF, Viktor Axelsen commented that they were tired of the “dry chicken breasts” served for every meal.

Thanks to Axelsen, the residents of the bio bubble at the Thailand Open are finally seeing some change in the food they receive.

Tse Ying Suet thanked Axelsen for the tasty meal she got. Every single player seems to be happy with the food they got over the last few meals.

Dry Chicken Breast’s torturing reign has finally come to an end.

England’s Lauren Smith wrote, “Oh hey food with flavor, it’s been a while.”

Ashwini Ponnappa wrote: “Yessssss!!!! Everything’s eaten for a change #notafanofwastingfood”

Many others including Tai Tzu Ying, Lee Yong Dae and Chan Peng Soon showed their happiness with the new menu.
