China’s head coach Xia Xuanze confirmed that Olympic champion Chen Yu Fei was forced to withdraw from the upcoming World Championships due to an ankle injury which she suffered during training, reports Aiyuke.
Other top Chinese players including Shi Yu Qi, Chen Long and Wang Yi Lyu/Huang Dong Ping will not be playing the tournament as well.
