Lee Zii Jia is 186 cm tall and Viktor Axelsen is 194 cm tall. Axelsen has been a role model for tall people who play badminton, including Lee Zii Jia.
Speaking on the topic, Lee Zii Jia said, “My idol is Viktor. I have watched his gameplay many times and I love the way he plays. I think when tall people play badminton, it’s very, very hard because we are tall. Every move is a struggle and we have to work on many core muscles and also our lower body, we have to make it strong, so that we can move very fast on court.
“This is one of the reasons why I like Viktor because he’s very active on court, even though he’s taller than me.”
