Chinese Taipei men’s singles player Wang Tzu Wei received the AstraZeneca vaccine last week. He experienced some of the common side effects that are reported in around one-third of the people who take the vaccine.
He said, “It was fine after practice, but at night, I started experiencing chills, muscle aches and fever. It was very uncomfortable”
Emphasizing that the vaccine is safe, he added, “I got a lot better after resting.”
