One of the conditions set by the sponsors is that the top three teams play.

The Thomas and Uber Cup scheduled for October is very likely to be postponed, after top seed Indonesia pulls out.

According to The Star, the Badminton World Federation (BWF) held an online emergency council meeting on Sunday following the withdrawals of top badminton nations.
A consensus to postpone the tournament was reportedly reached in the meeting.

There is no official announcement from BWF at the moment.

The final nail in the coffin was the withdrawal of the top seed Indonesia on Friday. Indonesia followed suit after South Korea, Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Australia had withdrawn earlier.

One of the requirements of the sponsors is that the top three countries participate in the tournament, The Star reports.

On the other hand, The Denmark Open I and the Denmark Masters might still be safe.
