Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) is planning to allow spectators inside the Axiata Arena for the Malaysia Open, 25-30 May 2021. The national association is waiting for the green light from the National Security Council and the Ministry of Health.

He also added that the Malaysia open will apply the same bubble concept that was used during the Asian circuit in Bangkok, Thailand.
