Badminton Korea Association has officially withdrawn from the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals. This makes South Korea the fourth country to officially withdraw following Chinese Taipei, Australia and Thailand.

Sports Seoul reports that the withdrawal from the Korean national squad comes given the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The updated draw of both the team events with the new replacing teams is awaited.
