Korean badminton couple Son Wan Ho and Sung Ji Hyun married on 12 December to end the Covid-19 marred year on a happy note.
Their union will extend the ‘Badminton Super Family’ Sung belongs. Her parents are Sung Han Kook and Kim Yun Ja. Sung Han Kook was part of the Korean team that played the final at the 1989 Sudirman Cup while Kim Yun Ja is a two-time All England Champion.

The addition of former world No. 1 Son Wan Ho to this illustrious badminton family is welcomed by all and they join a long list of Korean players who are real-life partners, Kim Sa Rang and Eom Hye Won, Rho Ye Wook and Kim Ha Na, and Kim Dong Moon and Ra Kyung Min.
