On July 31, Thailand’s top player Ratchanok Intanon made a police report at the Sala Daeng police station about her Facebook account being hacked. The 25-year-old player briefly posted about the hacking on her Facebook page on 30 July.

Intanon said that she was worried that someone could be harmed and deceived because of the hacker’s doing.

Reported by Siam Sport, Intanon said, “My personal Facebook account is connected to a Facebook page with more than 1 million followers, I’m afraid it will cause damage and deceive people.”

“Personally, I think it’s a shame that the Facebook account has been hacked because I have used it for a long time. There are photos and stories which are now memories… But now I can’t do anything anymore. I just consider it as a lesson that will make us more careful in the future,” said Intanon.
