Datuk Seri Norza Zakaria will continue to serve as President of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) in the new term 2021-2025. He was elected for the position without any opposition.
Norza Zakaria, who is also the President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia, said he wanted to accomplish unfinished goals and missions, especially a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Welfare of badminton players – both active and retired, setting up more badminton academies and scholarships for young players are the key areas which he mentioned he would be focusing to achieve.
