Kinji Zeniya, Secretary General of Nippon Badminton Association (NBA) announced Monday that the Japanese national team plans to restart training on 19 June. It is learnt that Kento Momota will also be a part of the training.

 The decision to resume training came after an NBA board meeting which was held on May 30. The state of emergency due to Covid-19 was lifted from all parts of Japan on May 14.

According to Yahoo.co.jp, the national training centre has an accommodation capacity of 448 people. To avoid spreading of the virus and to maintain social distancing measures, only one player will stay in a double room which is meant for two people.

Male and female players will have separate training sessions. NBA is also on the hunt of a second stadium to distribute the training sessions sufficiently for the players.
