Former world champion Liu Yu Chen and 3 other Chinese players – Li Jun Hui, He Ji Ting and Tan Qiang has been suspended by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) in relation to a “Betting, Wagering and Irregular Match Results” case from a match in the 2018 Fuzhou China Open.
All four players have been banned for three months from all badminton activities and will also serve a probation period of two years w.e.f. 25 January 2022.
