The Yonex Mix & Match Badminton Challenge, Malaysia which was originally to be held on December 28th has been postponed. Lee Chong Wei and his wife Wong Mew Choo are the star appearances of the tournament, along with Olympic silver medalists Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong.

The delay came after conditional movement control orders in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor were extended to 31 December.

Tournament organizers Sunrise Sports Sdn Bhd told The Star, “It will be rescheduled. Our management (Yonex) in Japan will provide an update soon.”

The Mix & Match Badminton Challenge is a series of exhibition tournaments held in several countries under the Legends Vision initiative of Yonex. Four events have been held so far – Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and China. Lin Dan, Taufik Hidayat and Kento Momota, among others, are some of the biggest names who have taken part in the events.
