The former king of the BWF world tour Lee Chong Wei commented on the difficult situation badminton is facing in the pandemic and also had some advice for the players.

Lee Chong Wei: “It is unfortunate for the Malaysia Open to be postponed… The Badminton World Federation (BWF) are in a sticky situation as well. I don’t think the world body is being unfair, but it must be really hard to make top-level decisions in the pandemic era.”

“Players need to disassociate themselves from everything that’s happening and just focus on their training,” he added.
