Kento Momota revealed he learned a lesson from his last defeat at the All England and that has given him the motivation to improve.

In the most recent video on his youtube channel, he said, “After losing, the message from the fans, I saw many comments like ‘What happened to Momota?’ To be honest, I’m glad that you (fans) think so. It’s nice to feel uncomfortable about losing. I want to be strong enough to make him think I won’t lose.

“I still feel guilty that I am No. 1 in the world and suffered defeat. I will take this defeat on the positive side. I hope I can show you that. I will come back stronger.”
