Saina Nehwal retired hurt in her first round match at the All England Championships last week due to a thigh injury. She is currently in Paris to participate in the Orleans Masters but hasn’t made a decision yet.
Indian physiotherapist C Kiran gave an update on the situation: “Saina has made considerable progress since withdrawing from All England. She has started training on Saturday.
“She is slowly recovering but not yet 100 per cent. But it is an important event for Olympic qualification, so we will take a call on Wednesday.”
