Indonesia’s Anthony Sinisuka Ginting takes the bronze medal in the men’s singles event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games by defeating Kevin Cordon of Guatemala in two straight games with a score of 21-11, 21-13 in a match that lasted only 37 minutes.

The last time Indonesia won a medal in the men’s singles event at the Olympics was in 2004 when Taufik Hidayat and Sony Dwi Kuncoro won the gold and the bronze respectively.
