Kento Momota and the Japanese national team attended a closed training camp in Toyama Prefecture from April 14 to 23.

With less than 100 days left till the Tokyo Olympics, the Malaysia Open and the Singapore Open will be Momota’s last international tournaments before the Games. He will desperately be looking for at least one title before the Olympics.

“The training camp turned out to be different from what I had imagined and I learned a lot… I had a good experience in the training camp. I want to work hard every day so that I can get closer to my ideal level of play,” said the world no. 1.
