Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong will be appearing in her first Super 1000 final after she defeated P.V. Sindhu in the semi-finals of All England Championships today. Chochuwong barely had any unforced errors coming from her racket throughout the entirety of the match.

Reflecting on her victory, Chochuwong said, “My plan was to control myself first and try every single shot, because she is fast and strong…I hope Ratchanok will go to the final because even if I win or lose Thailand will be the champion.”

Sindhu praised Chochuwong’s game, saying, “I think it was her day, everything she hit was on the line, I just couldn’t do anything about it… I knew it was going to be a good match, she’s not an easy player and she’s doing well. Her strokes are really good and she’s going to be a really good player.”
