2016 Rio Olympics silver medalists Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying crashed out of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after losing their second group match to German pair of Mark Lamsfuss and Isabel Herttrich today. They lost the match in straight games 12-21 15-21.
Chan and Goh also lost their first group match yesterday to Tang Chun Man and Tse Ying Suet after struggling to find the form which won them the silver in Rio.
With these two defeats, Chan and Goh are virtually out of this year’s Olympic Games.
