Tokyo 2020 Olympics 3rd seed Anders Antonsen did not shy away from saying that he is going for the gold medal.

The European champion said, “The big goal is definitely to win the gold medal. That has been a dream of mine since I started playing badminton, so the dream goal is the gold medal.”

He also said, “It is almost a cliché for me to say that I want to win it all, but it is a better cliché than saying that I am “taking one match at the time” and stuff like that even though it is also very true.”
