In the latest episode of the PB Djarum show Stay Connected with Liliyana (hosted by Liliyana Natsir), Hendra Setiawan and Mohammad Ahsan hinted that they might play the Paris 2024 Olympics.
37-year-old Setiawan said, “For the 2024 Olympics, I don’t know, but if you can still compete, why not?”
Ahsan added, “I also don’t know but if we play again, I feel sorry for the juniors. I mean why us again. I wish there would be other players who are ready for 2024 besides Kevin/Gideon.”
In Paris 2024, if they qualify and play, Setiawan will be 39 years and 11 months old and his partner Ahsan will be 36 years and 10 months old.
